Hooch, fair and un-biased (well maybe a little biased)
1. We caught a BoB POS with it's pants down.
2. We formed a fleet to take advantage of the snafu.
3. The Task Force sent to attack did get whammied by a massive gate lag.
4. Modest BoB force took advantage of the blunted attack, which anyone in their right mind would.
5. Task Force recovered in fast time and attack back in over whelming numbers and forced BoB resistance to withdraw from the field.
6. POS went down and allied forces cashed in on the booty and loot.
7. IMP, VC, CFI, and FA did win a victory over BoB, the size and scope may be debatable but it was a victory however short lived it may or may not be.
8. It was a clean fight and nobody should be over stating it or minimizing it. Yes BoB swiped it and now they have lost it and now swear a counter stoke to re-claim a small bit of lost prestige and a slightly redden face.
9. Smack got a little over heated but whatcha ya gonna do when the boys have been drinking and wanna fight.
Over all lessons:
A. The more to take the more you have to remember to maintain and the more you are just liable to forget. Comes with empire building and the hazards therein, the devil is always in the details when you say you own a piece of ground.
B. Lag will **** you over any time, any where all the time.
C. There is no shame in taking advantage your enemy's weakness when you have the chance. A lesson that BoB has taught us many times over. Love them or hate them, they do what they do very well and you are a fool to ignore this.
Moral of the story?
1. Expect lag to nail you at some point.
2. Remember to fuel your POS' for they are hungry, un-forgiving beasts.
3. It is just a game and we are all most likly decent people in real life and should be having fun.
